Sarah has been a first aider for over 30 years and began to specialise in first aid training in 2006. Her involvement in voluntary first aid work, as well as acting as a workplace first aider, has resulted in extensive real-life experience and means that delegates can benefit from her practical, realistic approach. Sarah holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, enabling her to provide advice over a broad range of health and safety topics and to carry out workplace inspections. She is also a mental health first aid instructor. Sarah currently volunteers for the North West Ambulance Service as a Community First Responder.   Sarah holds a Chartered Certified Accountant qualification and is a full member of the AAT. Thus she has a strong business awareness that enables her to meet the needs of our clients. Her excellent organisational and professional skills are a valuable asset for the partnership. Professional development courses attended include: Effective Communication, Accelerated Learning Techniques, Delivering On-the- Job Training, Facilitation Skills, Project Management, Introduction to Management, Handing Difficult Situations, Electrical Safety, Risk Assessment, Immediate Life Support. ​ Outside of work, Sarah enjoys cake decorating and craft projects. “One of the most enjoyable experiences I had was making our daughter’s wedding cake with my daughter and my own mum. A true family moment!”

Sarah has been successfully developing, coordinating and delivering training since 1999. She holds a teaching qualification, which allows her to teach a range of subjects (from cupcake decorating to financial management) to delegates at all levels from beginners to healthcare professionals. What has been her most challenging training task? She explains: “Making an HND module in Managing Financial Resources and Decisions interesting, relevant and fun! Once I’d done this, I knew that any course could be enjoyable, even if the material was very technical!”
